On 24, 25 and 26 September 2024, the project partners met to take a progress report on the actions carried out since the launch of the project.
The meeting was held in Boulogne-sur-Mer, in France, on the offices of AQUIMER. It was an opportunity to discover the first version of the serious game, soon to be available for download, which will facilitate training in the aquaculture sector. The partners also visited the facilities of PFI Nouvelles Vagues, an innovation platform based in Wimereux.
The meeting was also an opportunity for the AQUIMER cluster to hold the project’s first workshop in collaboration with IFSEA*. The day focused on the treatment and recovery of co-products, highlighting the environmental, economic and social aspects as well as best practices and technologies for the recovery of co-products, and ending with the regulatory aspects of this recovery.
There were four speakers on the day, enabling participants to learn more about the subject:
- Freya ROBINSON, SUBMARINER
- Dr Abhilash SASIDHARAN, NTNU
- Dr Ece Kendir CAKMAK, KTH
- Mathilde COQUELLE, PROCIDYS
The replay of this event will soon be available on the BLUEAQUAEDU project website.
